Most ad accounts start the same way. Someone has a product, a budget, and a dashboard that says the ads are working. Then the bank balance tells a different story. That gap is the reason AdMagic exists.
This is a short recap of the people and the problem behind it, with links to the posts that go deeper.
The problem: good ROAS, thin profit
Marketing optimizes for ROAS. Finance cares about net profit. In most businesses there is no bridge between the two, so a campaign can look great in the ad platform and still lose money once margin is counted. Add blind creative testing on top, roughly 50 creatives over 3 to 4 weeks at $10K to $20K and often inconclusive, and you find out you were wrong weeks and thousands of dollars too late.
We lived that firsthand. It is the story we tell in We Didn’t Start With Code. We Started With a Client Losing Money on “Good” Ads.
The people: operators first, builders second
The AdMagic founders have managed $4M+ in ad spend and generated $2.1M+ in client revenue through their prior agency work, before AdMagic existed. That history is why the product is aimed at profit, not vanity metrics. You can meet the team in Meet the AdMagic Founders.
AdMagic was built inside Toronto Metropolitan University’s Innovation Incubators / Momentum-SDZ program, and it is in active MVP development. We are building toward our first 10 design partners, with the MVP targeted for around January 2027.
The approach: score before you spend, approve before it acts
AdMagic is designed around two ideas. TRIBE v2, our neuro-creative scoring system built on fMRI/EEG data from 750 participants, scores creatives before launch. The Context Engine ties ad spend and clicks to true net profit and contribution margin, not just ROAS.
On top of that sits an AI CFO/CMO layer that proposes recommendations with a reason and an audit trail. A human approves before anything executes. Read more in Every AI Recommendation Comes With a Reason and an Audit Trail.
