We have generated $2.1M+ in revenue for past clients. That number is real, and it is also the least interesting thing we learned along the way.
Revenue is the number everyone celebrates. It is easy to screenshot and easy to put in a pitch. But after managing $4M+ in ad spend, we kept running into the same uncomfortable question: what did that revenue actually leave behind once the costs came out?
What the number is, and what it is not
To be clear about where this comes from: the $2.1M+ in client revenue and the $4M+ in ad spend come from the founders’ agency work, before AdMagic existed. It is our track record as operators. It is not a result produced by AdMagic, and AdMagic does not have live customers today.
We bring it up because it shaped everything we are building. You cannot spend that much on paid social without developing strong opinions about where the process breaks.
What we kept running into
Three problems showed up again and again, across very different accounts.
First, the ROAS dashboard and the bank account told different stories. Ad platforms report revenue against spend. They do not know your margins, your returns, or your shipping costs. A campaign can look healthy on screen and still be thin on actual profit. We wrote about the $15,000 question hiding inside a good ROAS for exactly this reason.
Second, creative testing was slow and expensive. Blind testing typically means around 50 creatives, 3 to 4 weeks, and $10K to $20K, and the answer is often still inconclusive. You pay full price to learn which ads were the losers.
Third, the reporting stopped at reporting. We could pull a dozen dashboards, but someone still had to translate them into a decision, usually late at night, usually alone.
So we started building the tool we wished we had
AdMagic is our answer to those three problems, and every piece maps back to something we lived through.
The Context Engine ties ad spend and clicks to true net profit and contribution margin, not just ROAS. TRIBE v2, our neuro-creative scoring system built on fMRI and EEG data from 750 participants, is designed to score creatives before you spend on them, so you are not funding a traditional live A/B test just to find a winner. And the AI CFO/CMO layer proposes recommendations with a reason and an audit trail, while a human approves before anything executes. Nothing runs on its own.
If you want the people behind it, meet the founders, or read what $4M+ in ad spend taught us.
Where we honestly are
AdMagic is in active MVP development, built inside Toronto Metropolitan University’s Innovation Incubators and Momentum-SDZ program. We are aiming for our first 10 design partners, with the MVP complete and first paying design partners targeted around January 2027. We would rather tell you that plainly than dress it up.
What we can promise is that this product comes from people who have sat in the seat you are sitting in, staring at a good-looking dashboard and wondering whether the business is actually winning.
